Attentions |
1. The breakage, air bubbles and dryness induced by transport, will hinder the red cells passing. These cards shouldn’t be used.
2. The special centrifuge of Boyan is essential to ensure the exact result. Request the supplier to correct the centrifuge if necessary.
3. The red cell suspension prepared from un-anticoagulated blood is forbidden to avoid the false positive result.
4. The abnormal protein level of the serum to be tested can cause false positive result.
5. Inaccurate sample size (too heavy red cell suspensions or insufficient serum) can interfere with result.
6. When the temperature is too low, the activity of gel particle will decrease and single red cell will hardly pass the gel. The false positive result will appear.
7. The reaction of antigens on the red cells stored for long time, compared with fresh red cells, will decrease correspondingly. The red cell membrane fragments are on the surface of or in the gel.
8. The particles in the plasma or serum may hinder the red cells passing the gel. The sample like this must be centrifuged before use.
9. The particles in the red cell suspension may hinder the red cells passing the gel. The red cell dilute solution is recommended to use.
10. The acutely hemolytic sample is forbidden which will strongly interfere with the result reading.
11. Certain drugs (include large dose of antibiotic drugs) and some pathological conditions are associated with the positive reactions in anti-human globulin procedures.
12. The contaminated sample and materials is forbidden.
13. The mix sample of various antigenic red cells, the polyagglutinable cells e.g. T/Tn or subgroup red cells e.g. A3 may show mixed reaction.
14. The red cells which are overmuch treated by enzyme will produce nonspecific agglutination.
